Brenda “Sue” Trosper of Middlesboro passed away Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, at Middlesboro ARH.
She was born in Balkan on March 17, 1940, and was the daughter of the late Edward and Cordia Griffin Templeton. She was a member of the 30th Street Church of God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Curtis Templeton, Mary Templeton, Inzy Collett, Opal Franks, James “Jim” Templeton, Larry “Shot” Templeton, Betty Nichols and Vernon Templeton.
Survivors include her sons, Lawrence Trosper of Middlesboro, Steve Trosper and wife Karen of Middlesboro; sister, Shelby Nichols of Alabama; brother, Virgil Templeton of Pineville; sister-in-law, Joyce Templeton; grandchildren, Jami Rains and husband Austin, Shaun Trosper and Ashley Witt, Josh Trosper and wife Christina, Adam Trosper and Keda Britt; great-grandchildren, Kaylee Rains, Riley Rains, Seth Bingham, Harrison Trosper, Caroline Trosper; special niece, Diane Williams and family; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
At Mrs. Trosper’s request, she was cremated by the Creech Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, at the Creech Funeral Home with the Rev. Keith Medley presiding.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, at the Creech Funeral Home.
