Ada Pauline Miracle Partin, age 88 of Laurel Hill, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, at her home.
She was born on Dec. 8, 1923, at Pineville, and was a daughter of the late Jeremiah K. and Ella Mae Jackson Miracle. She was a member of Wasioto Baptist Church and had been a homemaker. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George C. Partin; grandchildren, Paula Muncy and Laura Beth Miracle-Crisp; great-grandchildren, Autumn Jackson, Tyler Partin and Jereme Neal; sister, Gertrude Hendrickson, Myrtle Lee Johnson, Gladys Mullins and half-sister, Rosie Gray; and half-brother, Homer Miracle.
Survivors include her children, Gwendolyn Diann Osborne, Patsy Lou Partin, Elizabeth K. Miracle and husband Donnie E., and Steve Partin and wife Cindy; grandchildren, Lisa Osborne Baker, Jamie Neal, Chad Emery, George Ellen Jackson, April Vargas, Heather Thomas, Holly Denny, Jordan Partin and Jeremiah Partin; great-grandchildren, Amanda Neal, Laura Katherine Osborne, Rachel Phelps, Becky Jones, Elizabeth Muncy, Julie Muncy, David Paul Muncy, Jacob Muncy, Patrick Emery, Omvia Sinkhorn, Aliveah Emery, Victoria Emery, Sarah Emery, Marcos Vargas, Briana Vargas, Isabel Vargas, Ethan Jackson, Cassidy Thomas, Camille Thomas, Camdyn Thomas, Luke Thomas, Abby Partin and Jake Partin; great-great-grandchildren, Hagen Neal, Kelly Jones, Emma Jones and Roxy Muncy; brother, Jerry Becton Miracle; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Services will be today at 2 p.m. at Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with the Rev. Shawn Allen and Fred Woods presiding. Music will be by Andrea Woods Greene, Laura Beth Miracle-Crisp, Cindy Partin and Fred Woods.
Burial will be in the John Jackson Cemetery on Laurel Hill. Pallbearers will be Chad Emery, Jordon Partin, Roger McCloud, Jeremiah Partin, David Wayne Knuckles and Johnny Woods. Honorary pallbearers will be Fred Woods, Larry Mills, Bob Matthews, Kenny Mills, Wayne McCloud, Harold Partin and Bruce Hendrickson.
