The Middlesboro Business and Professional Women’s Club and the League of Women Voters will be sponsoring a community meeting at 6 p.m. on Thursday at the Ray of Hope Children’s Center located at 313 S. Cherry Street in Pineville.
The meeting will focus on deterring children and young people away from drugs and alcohol. The clubs will be taking ideas from the community on how to accomplish this mission. All ideas will be considered.
There will be a short presentation on possible grant funding.
There will be light refreshments served at the event.
Anyone from the community interested may attend the meeting.
