Staff Report

A court date has been set for two men allegedly involved in the murder of 61-year-old Bobby Wiggins.

James Otis Sizemore, 26, and William J. Anderson, 33, both of Flat Lick, appeared in Bell Circuit Court Monday for the pre-trial conference. The trial date for both men has been set for April 9.

Wiggins’ body was found in a wooded area of Bell County near the Knox County line, approximately a year ago. Wiggins died from an alleged strike to the head.

Both men were indicted on the murder charge earlier in the year, following their arrest last year.

Anderson was the first man charged with the murder. He was arrested on Dec. 4.

Sizemore was picked up later following an investigation by the Kentucky State Police.
