He was born May 15, 1948, in Middlesboro, to Betty Brooks Beaty and the late Robert Beaty. He was a veteran of the United States Army, and a member of the White Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Norene Beaty, Middlesboro; mother, Betty Beaty, Middlesboro; children, Rochelle White, Detroit, Mich., Ramone Andre Beaty, Detroit, Mich., Carl Beaty,Middlesboro, Erica Beaty, Middlesboro, and Lynn Butler,Racine, Wisc.; brothers and sisters, Sandra (Marshall) Bradley, Springfield, Ohio, Janet Gillispie, Knoxville, Tenn., Linda (William) Patterson, Middlesboro, Alfred Beaty, Middlesboro, William (Karen) Beaty, Columbus, Ohio, and Harold (Laconya) Brooks, Middlesboro; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Creech Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Jamison and the Rev. C. Curry presiding. Music will be provided by the Church of the True Living God of Holiness Choir.
Interment will be private. Honorary pallbearers will be Julian Costner, Olen Brooks, Bill Patterson, Kenneth Mays, Clifton West and William West.
The family of Mr. Beaty will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Friday at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel.
