Andy Maiden, age 67, Frakes, KY, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, KY. He was born November 15, 1945 in Frakes, KY, the son of the late Lewis and Lena Ruth Baker Maiden. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers: Robert, John, Bill and Eddie Maiden and his sisters: Fran Rupper and Jessie Donlandson.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Maiden; his children: Debbie (Albert) Rojas, Kathy (John) Roderrick; Crystal Maiden and Sierra Moffett; his sons: Andy Maiden, Jr., Donny (Sarah) Maiden, and Josh Ikemier; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brothers: James Maiden, Harrogate, David and Debbie Maiden, Middlesboro, Wilburn and Ella Maiden, North Carolina; sisters: Geneva Brimm, Pineville, Georgia Sergent, Ohio, Merie Nutt, Ruth Taylor, Betty and Charles Jones and Anna Maiden all of Middlesboro, Flora Berry, Chattanooga, and Brenda Hess, Ohio; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Nashville Connection with Rev. Don Bannister officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Ft. Wayne, IN. Pallbearers will be Jerry Evans, Ronnie Dale, Tim Cole, Jim Ball, Adam Roark, and Jason Hart. Honorary pallbearers will be David Maiden, James Maiden, Wilburn Maiden, Stoney Stonesphier, Doug, and Charles Jones. The family will receive friends after 5 p.m., Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Nashville Connection.
