Charles Hubbard, age 76, Middlesboro, KY, departed this life Friday, January 11, 2013 at University of Tennessee Hospital in Knoxville, TN. He was born June 25, 1936, son of the late Sandy Sherrod and Lillian Ball Williams of St. Louis, IL. He had worked at Dalton Foundry of Warsaw, IN., and was a Veteran of the Air Force Service. He was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church, Middlesboro, KY, Pastor, Rev. Mykal Ringstaff.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Amanda Brown, and father-in-law, Jake Brown Sr.; one sister, Labertha Hubbard Boyd; three sisters-in-law: Patty Jo Kyle, Vivian Brooks,and Louise Glover; five brother-in-laws; John Boyd, Sr., Jake Brown Jr., Charles Brown Sr., George Brown, and Chalk Kyle; and nephew, John Boyd Jr.

Charles is survived by his loving, devoted wife of 42 years, Ivie Hubbard; two sons, Lamont and Christopher Hubbard of Middlesboro, KY; one daughter, Ardellia Hubbard of Middlesboro, KY; nine grandchildren; two sisters: Vivian Jones and Yvonne Dean of Marion, IN; three brothers: Larry, Junior Dean and Albert Luster all of Marion, IN; six sisters-in-laws; Brenda (Kenneth) Williams, Donzella Kelly, Charlene Scott, Gloria Johnson, Jeanette Brown, and Mary McNeil all of Middlesboro, KY; six brother-in-laws: Bobby (Phyllis) Brown, William Brown, Sr., Kenneth Williams, Johnny Brown, and Bishop Joseph Glover, all of Middlesboro, KY, Howard (Leslie) Brown of Keland, TX, and a host of many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral service was at 2 p.m., Saturday, January 19, 2013 with Rev. Mykal Ringstaff and Rev. Tony Francis officiating. Music will be provided by the Choir of the True Living God of Holiness Church and Robert Kelly. The family received friends noon-2 p.m., Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Shumate Funeral Home Chapel. There was no burial service. Cremation service followed after the funeral.
