Maureen Callahan Sutton, 97, of Park Hills, KY passed away Thursday, January 24, 2013 at the Bridgepoint Care and Rehabilitation Center in Florence, KY. She was born in Ewing, VA, September 1, 1915, the daughter of the late Nicholas Littleton and Caroline Susan Callahan. Maureen is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Elbert Sutton; three brothers and five sisters: Bayless, Sewell, & Mary Callahan, Stella Hensley, and Clarence, Ora, Nell, and Lizzie Chadwell; along with nephews James, Dennis, and Gary Lee Callahan. Maureen was blessed with a long, youthful life. She enjoyed modeling hats, traveling, and keeping in touch with family and friends.

Maureen is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Susan Gabbard, of Florence KY; one grandson and his wife, Matthew and Katie Gabbard of McKee, KY; two granddaughters, Carolyn McGuire and Gail Gabbard of Florence, KY and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by nephews and nieces, Bernice, Roy, Lehman, Mary Ruth, Sewell, Charles, Phyllis, David, and Larry Callahan.

Funeral and burial services will be 2 p.m., Sunday, January 27, 2013 at the Elydale Cemetery in Ewing, Va.
