Abbie Gail Carroll 78, of Ingram Ky. passed away on Monday February 18, 2013 at the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington. She was the Daughter of the late George and Mary Miracle Green. She was born December 14, 1934 in Calvin, KY. She had been a homemaker.
In addition to her parents Abbie was preceded in death by son-in-law Woody Collett; sisters Ethel Thompson, Shelby Hembree and Beulah Charles; brother George Green, Jr.
left to mourn her passing her husband Edgar Carroll, her children Kay (David) Crockett, Brenda Collett, Mary (Ricky) Barnett, Sherry Day, Eddie Carroll, Kevin (Angela) Carroll, Kim Mike and Justin Taylor; grandchildren Kristie Pratt, Tommy Crockett, Jenna Crockett, Charity Hayes, Joshua Collett, Brandon Taylor, Ashley Taylor, Derek Barnett, Madison Horton, Courtney Carroll, Mackenzie Carroll, Tanner Mike and Trevor Mike; great-grandchildren Jaxson Pratt, Maddox Pratt, Karisyn Pratt, Alyson Crockett, Gracie Collett, John Hayes, Annison Hayes, Abbie Collett, Evan Taylor, Kaleb Taylor and Aiden Taylor; sisters Irene Skeens and Barbara Ballew; brother Homer Green.
Funeral services for Abbie Carroll will be conducted in the chapel of the Brooks Durham Funeral Home on Thursday February 21, 2013 at 8 PM with the Rev. Ervin Gibson officiating.
Graveside services will be 11 AM Friday February 22, 2013 at Carroll Cemetery, Highway 92. Pallbearers will be her nephews James Green, Homer Green, Darrell Green, David Green, Dennis Ballew and Glennis Ballew, Jr. The family will receive friends on Thursday February 21, 2013 from 6 until the funeral hour at 8 PM at the Brooks Durham Funeral Home which is honored to be serving the Carroll family.
