Yvonne Marjorie Rivard Smith, 87, of Pineville, passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at her home. She was born in East Hartford, CT, on February 20, 1925, a daughter of the late Rene’ and Rose Marie St. Laurent Rivard. She had been a housewife and enjoyed being with children. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clabern Smith, son, Renee Smith; sons-in-law, Eugene Burnett and Arnold Browning.

Survivors include her daughters, Shirley Burnett and Mike Ross; Marie Browning and Louanne and Greg Moody; daughter-in-law, Brenda Smith; grandchildren, Anna Marie (Burnett) and Tony Rehrman, Robert Wayne and Pam Burnett, Eric and Kim Browning, Nick and Kristin Siler, Trevor and Jen Siler and Rebecca Smith; great-grandchildren, Lauren Marie Rehrman and fiance, Braxton Sherrill, Olivia Laine Rehrman, Madison Anna Rehrman, Robert Andrew Burnett, Sarah Kathryn Burnett, Connor Browning, Caden Browning and Brooke Browning, Calla Siler and Gio Siler; five brothers and three sisters in Connecticut; and a host of nieces, nephews, neighbors, other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Robbins. Burial will follow in Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro with grandsons serving as pallbearers.
