Donna Lynn Taylor Burdin, age 66, Ewing, Virginia, passed away Tuesday (February 19, 2013) at her residence. She was born on April 5, 1946 in Ewing, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Taylor; her mother, Biddie Taylor; and her husband, Bill Burdin, all of Ewing, Virginia.

She is survived by her brothers: Terry Taylor and wife Florence of Illinois; Kevin Taylor and Della of Ewing, Virginia; and Arden Taylor of Tazewell, Tennessee. She is also survived by nieces: Sandra Coppernoll, Glenda Gottfried, Shawn Moore, Terri Lynn Taylor and Heather Yeary.

She was a member of the White Rocks Garden Club.

She lived in Illinois for 20 years after high school. She moved back to her home town of Ewing where she worked for a nursing home and home health care. She took care of others and showed her love for humanity to all through her actions. She was fun-loving and always had an easy laugh. She will be greatly missed. She would be the first to tell you, “Don’t mourn for me.” She is with God and He is always good. One of her favorite verses was Psalms 139:15-18.

Visitation will be from 5:00- 7:00 pm on Wednesday (February 20, 2013) at the Arney-Mullins Funeral Home Chapel in Rose Hill, Virginia. The funeral will follow at 7:00 pm with the Rev. Robert Charles Long officiating.

Burial will be in the Taylor Family Cemetery in Ewing, Virginia.
