In loving memory of Vernon Tigue, 75, passed away March 1, 2013 at Baptist Health in Lexington, KY. He was born September 14, 1937 in Knox County, KY to the late Ance and Sally Wagers Tigue. He had been a coal miner.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Juanita Jones Tigue; daughter, Ellen Fletcher; parents, Ance and Sally Wagers Tigue; many brothers, sisters and other relatives.

Survivors include daughters, Reva Napier and Rosa Elliott; brothers, Clyde Tigue, Thomas Tigue and Luther Tigue; sisters, June Godsey, Ethel Tigue, Jewel Mosley and Cora Jackson; grandchildren, Vernon Lee Tigue, Charles Robert Burton, Kevin Ray Burton, Jonathan Asher, Latika Fletcher and Steven Ray Fletcher; great-grandchildren, Paiden Burton, Vernon Dakota Wyrick, Madison Asher, Maleigha Asher and Brody Asher

Funeral services will be conducted at Dorton Branch Holiness Church of God on Monday March 4, 2013 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. James Griffin and Rev. Arthur Jackson. Pallbearers will be family & friends. Burial will be in the Tigue Cemetery, HWY 92. The family will receive friends on Sunday March 3, 2013 after 6 p.m. at the Dorton Branch Holiness Church of God.
