Archie Ealy, 61, of Harlan, passed away Sunday March 17, 2013 at his home. He was born February 11, 1952 at Pathfork, KY., a son of the late Sherman and Haley Daniel Ealy. He was a retired United Mine Worker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother: Glennis P. Ealy; sister: Phyllis Hatcher and nephew: Justin Ealy.

Survivors include: daughter: Erica Brooke Ealy of Cumberland; brothers: Ronnie Ealy of Blackmont, Jimmy (Royice) Ealy of Hances Creek, James (Betty) Ealy of Georgia, Donnie (Lisa) Ealy of Pineville; sisters: Roberta Cameron of Ohio, Erma (Don) Howard of Harlan, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Howard presiding. Interment will be in the Daniels Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Scott Ealy, Shannon Ealy, Brian Ealy, Eric Ealy, Michael Ealy and Anthony Ealy. The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Friday at the Creech Funeral Home.
