She was born March 9, 1936, in Bell County, and was the daughter of the late Lloyd Thomas Davis and Clara Mae Hurst Davis.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Thore and Helen Robbins.
She is survived by the following members of her family: husband: Harold Collins; children, Pamela Robbins, Glessie (Patrick) Cecil, Rilda Faye (Daryl) Maiden, Lloyd Robbins, Harold A. Collins and Keith (Mary) Robbins; sisters and brothers, Lloyd (Patsy) Davis Jr., Earl Lester (Veda) Davis, Julia Kay (James) Hoskins, Carolyn (Ronald) Browning, Joyce (Charles) Reynolds, Mary Hoskins, Sadie (Marvin) McGeorge, Myrtle Ellen (Eddie) Robertson, James (Dora) Davis, and Maxine Collins; and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Harrogate Cemetery with the Rev. Johnny Parks presiding. Burial will immediately follow the service. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Creech Funeral Home, Middlesboro, which is in charge of all arrangements.
