ARJAY — Noah “Buck” Saylor, age 68, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2009, at his home in Arjay.

Born January 1, 1941, he was the son of the late Sim Saylor and Lora Sizemore Saylor. He had been a coal miner, and was an avid coon hunter and Ginsenger.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Saylor of Newtown; sons, Stan Saylor of Arjay, Wes Saylor of Arjay, and Dale and Misty Saylor of Arjay; daughters, Karen Sue Saylor of Miracle, and Logina Saylor of Middlesboro; brothers, Gene Saylor of Arjay, Stacy Saylor of Arjay, Anthony Collett of Arjay, Roy Collett of Mt. Sterling, Ky., and George Saylor of Straight Creek; sisters, Elyv Evelyn Fox of Wallsend, Eunice Clouse of Arjay , Hess Sams of Manchester, Ky., Martha Birchfield of Berea, Ky., and Christine Hamson of Manchester, Ky.; grandchildren, Steven Noah Collett, Michael Saylor, Angel Collett, Amber Saylor, Stephanie Collett, Lindsay Saylor, Jared Saylor, Cameron Saylor, Ben Saylor, Ariel Saylor, Ashton Saylor, Logan Saylor, Adam Stepp, Ryan Stepp, Jordan Saylor, Josh Miller, Jaiden Saylor, Peyton Saylor; great-grandchildren, Trenton Maiden and Aiden Collett; best friend Bo; and a host of nieces  nephews other relatives and friends

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Brooks-Durham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Wagner and the Rev. George Neal presiding.

Burial will follow in Red Hill Cemetery at Arjay. Pallbearers will Jamie Saylor, Jody Saylor, Lester Clouse, Brandon Johnson, Steve Collett, Dale Saylor and Michael Saylor

The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Brooks-Durham Funeral Home which is honored to be in charge of arrangements.
