To the editor:

I am writing this letter to thank Tim Wilder and his staff at the Middlesboro Fire Department. We had an emergency with my uncle and I called for an ambulance. Middlesboro Fire Department was there in a record amount of time. Their response was unbelievably quick, they were professional and very courteous. After arriving with my uncle at the hospital the doctor informed us that my uncle was critically ill and he needed to be transported to a hospital in Knoxville. I called Mr. Wilder at home and he had an ambulance at the hospital in no time. Middlesboro Fire Department runs an excellent ambulance service. I cannot thank Mr. Wilder and his staff enough for going above and beyond the call of duty. My family and I really appreciate the excellent job they did for our family.
