Clyde Edward Gordon, Jr., 36, of Arthur, Tenn., was found guilty on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, first offense, a Class A misdemeanor, and first degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense, a Class D felony. Gordon was sentenced to serve five years in a state penitentiary for the charge of first degree possession of a controlled substance, and twelve months for in the Bell County Jail for the drug paraphernalia charge. The sentences are to run concurrently with each other. Gordon will be placed on unsupervised probation for a period of five years under specific terms and conditions. He will receive credit for 82 days time served.
George Wesley Upton, 31, of Middlesboro was found guilty on charges of first degree fleeing or evading police, a Class D felony, first degree wanton endangerment, a Class D felony and second degree persistent felony offender, a Class C felony. Gordon was sentenced to five years in a state penitentiary and will be required to pay court costs in the amount of $131 within 180 days of release. He will receive credit for 78 days time served.
Christina Marie Terrell, 21, of Harrogate, Tenn., was found guilty of second degree criminal abuse, a Class D felony. She was sentenced to five years in a state penitentiary, but will actually serve six months in the Bell County Jail. Terrell will be placed on five years supervised probation and will be required to pay court costs in the amount of $151 within 180 days of release. She will receive credit for 20 days time served.
Randy Joeshawn Vaughn, 25, of Pineville was found guilty on two counts of first degree criminal abuse, each a Class C felony, and one count of third degree criminal abuse, a Class A misdemeanor. He was sentenced to ten years in a state penitentiary, and will be required to pay court costs in the amount of $151 within 180 days of release. Vaughn will receive credit for 524 days time served.
Charles Justin Hunter, 26, of Pineville was found guilty of first degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense, a Class C felony. He was sentenced to five years in a state penitentiary, and will be required to pay court costs in the amount of $151 within 180 days of release. Hunter will receive credit for 16 days time served.
Matthew Russell, 25, of Middlesboro was found guilty of second degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense, a Class D felony. He was sentenced to two years in a state penitentiary, and will be required to pay court costs in the amount of $151 within 180 days of release. Russell will receive credit for six days time served.
Jason Lee Blanton, 29, of Middlesboro was found guilty of third degree burglary, a Class D felony. He was sentenced to five years in a state penitentiary, and will be required to pay court costs in the amount of $146 within 180 days of release. Blanton will receive credit for 38 days time served.
Shenna Renea Jennings, 25, of Middlesboro was found guilty of possession of drug paraphernalia, first offense, a Class A misdemeanor, and third degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense, a Class A misdemeanor. She will serve 90 days in the Bell County Jail, and will be required to pay court costs in the amount of $151 within 180 days of release.
Gary Michael Lucas, 40, of Harrogate, Tenn., was found guilty on charges of second degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense, a Class A misdemeanor, operating a motor vehicle under the influence, third offense, a Class A misdemeanor, and operating a motor vehicle on suspended/revoked license, first offense, a Class B Misdemeanor. He was sentenced to nine months in the Bell County Jail, and will be required to pay court costs in the amount of $151 within 180 days of release. Lucas will receive credit for 64 days time served.
