Middlesboro had a season low team score of 161. Bell County came in second with a team score of 217, while Pineville shot a 237.
“I had four players play well for the first time all year. We have the talent to shoot this score day in and day out. I hope it continues through the Region,” said Middlesboro coach Jerry Shoffner. “We'll just cross our fingers and see what happens Tuesday.”
Michael Wilson and Jared Lasley led all scores with a 3 over par 39 for the match.
Others playing for Middlesboro and their scores: Brandon Bisceglia-41, Eric Francis-42 and Nick Shoffner-53.
Bell County was led by Micah Robbins with a 12-over-par 48. Seth Jeffries led the Lions with a 56.
Middlesboro travels to Barbourville today for a match with Barbourville and Knox Central.
