MIRACLE — Ules Gibbons, age 74, passed away Friday, October 23, 2009, at his home.

Born in Bell County, he was the son of the late Bert and China Ethel Wilson Gibbons. He was a member of the Oakdale Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Lonnie Gibbons; a brother, Coy Gibbons; sisters, Shirley Cundiff, Jereline Combs and Frances Blair; his step-mother, Eller Gibbons; and special friends, Floyd Cupp and Ed Mills.

He is survived by the following members of his family, wife, Dolly Jean Gibbons; children, Donnie (Lesa) Gibbons, Marvin (Charlene) Gibbons, Jennifer and R.B. Wilson.; grandchildren, Logan, Bryan, Colby, Amelia, Cindy, Dezina and Charles Michael; sisters, Jewell Cole and Vivian Brown; brothers, Glenn Gibbons, Harold Gibbons, Carroll Gibbons, Chester Gibbons and Truman Gibbons; step-brothers and sisters, Ira Miracle, Fred P. Miracle, Elsie Miracle, Estella Miracle, Wanda Sue Jackson, Trudie Miracle and Lucille Howard; special friends, Quinlan Miracle, Ralph Wilder and Ralph Gibbons; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday October 25, 2009 at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Miracle and Rev. David Gibbons presiding.

Music will be provided by Etta Smith, Becky and Mecha Gibbons and the Oakdale Choir.

Interment will follow in the Cubbage Cemetery. His children and grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the Creech Funeral Home.

Creech Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
