Born at Wasioto, on February 6, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Catherine Partin McCloud. She had been an LPN and attended church at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Williamsburg, Ky.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Brooks; two infant daughters; a brother, Carl McCloud; and a sister, Mary Harrell.
Survivors include her daughter, Terri Brock; grandchildren, Nieckea Tye and Dustan Tye; brothers and sisters, Wayne and Jessie McCloud of Ormand Beach, Fla., Vivian and Roger Siler of Middlesboro, and Roger McCloud of New Tazewell, Tenn.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial services were held at 8 p.m. Friday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville.
