Ralston likely to receive shock probation

PINEVILLE — A former Bell County dentist who pleaded guilty to Medicaid Fraud and drug trafficking, and was indicted for jury tampering, was sentenced to five years in prison Monday in Bell County Circuit Court.

But Craig Ralston may get out much sooner.

Kentucky Attorney General’s special prosecutor Chris Melton said that the Commonwealth would not object to Ralston receiving shock probation after 30 days incarceration.

How much of a shock can probation be if you already know you're getting it?

I grew up in Bell co,i am suprised,not really that nothing has changed,the good dentist,how much money did he pay for the sentencing,i call it dirty money on the hands of any one who touched it,this man has hurt so many inocent familys shure they are addicts,he is a supplier,the addicts and their familys are victoms of people just like him,smack him on the hand,keep the drugs coming,i just pray for those who are better then the poor one day they will face a good and just god.

Johnnyt You are probably right.Just so unfair that the common working man would get thrown under the jail for 1/2 the offenses this guy committed but he gets a slap on the hand AND gets to keep all the cash he stole!

How did he get such a sweet deal? Steals a ton of money from taxpayers,prescribes pain killers to people that don't need em and then commits jury tampering and gets 30 DAYS IN JAIL with shock probation?! If I ever decide to break the law you bet I'm coming to Bell Co KY!Slap on the wrist and you get to keep all that stolen cash,sweet deal!
