Kentucky Utilities (KU) is asking the Public Service Commission (PSC) for a 13.54 percent increase on residential rates — which comes out to an average of $11.70 per month.

Customers can voice their opposition to the increase by calling the PSC at 1-800-772-4636.

Just like all the rest of big business, such as oil companies...if they can they will take advantage and increase prices....as they get richer , we get poorer.

This is not a big suprise from a company that charges you just to be a customer! look at your bill for the $5.00 customer fee which is urelated to your energy consumption charge. this is like walmart, kroger, mcdonalds or any other business charging a door fee just for walking in!!!
