Born June 10, 1920 in Harlan County, Ky., he was the son of the late Issac Daniels and Martha Pace Daniels. He had worked as a farmer and was of the Pentecostal faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Verlia Baker, Viola Daniels, Deloris Daniels, Vina Daniels, Emo Daniels, Lee Daniels, Boyd Daniels, Isabell Cornett, Mary Jane Daniels, Haley Ealy, Almira Daniels, and Linda Howard.
Survivors include 46 nieces and nephews, including two special nieces Eileen Rains and Zella Ealy, and special nephew Burt Daniels; and a host of other cousins and family
Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jess Roark and the Rev. Arnold Lee presiding. Music will be by Benita Lee.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Daniels Cemetery in Smith, Ky. Pallbearers will be cousins and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel.
