David and Ona-Lee Crockett are celebrating their golden wedding anniversary today.

David Crockett and Ona-Lee Lambert were joined together in marriage on March 2, 1960. Residents of Forge Ridge, Tenn., Mr. Crockett is retired from the Coca-Coal Bottling Company in Middlesboro, and Mrs. Crockett is a retired hairdresser from Ladies of Kentucky in Middlesboro.

They have two daughters, Teresa Diane Arnold, married to Jeff Arnold, who resides in Middlesboro; and Tanya Marie Thomas, married to David Thomas, who resides in Kingsport, Tenn.

Mr. and Mrs. Crockett are also blessed with five grandchildren: Julie Arnold, Johnathan Arnold, Joshua Arnold, Nicole Thomas and April Thomas.

“Praise to our Lord Jesus Christ for uniting them in marriage,” states daughters Teresa and Tanya. “May their happiness and love for each other continue to grow and inspire all of us.”
