A Lee County resident for most of her life, she was a member of Old Arthur’s Chapel Holiness Church.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Leonard “Luck” Long; one daughter, Edith Long Smith; her parents, Aaron and Dora Wilson Long; five brothers, Alva, Calvin, Harvey, Walter, and Lloyd Long; and four sisters, Ollie Ramsey, Elizabeth Long, America Estep, and Bonnie Hamlin.
Surviving are her three sons, Lonnie Long and wife, Jeanette of Rose Hill, Harmon Long of Rose Hill, and Calvin Long and wife, Teresa of Rose Hill; one granddaughter, who she raised as her own, Pearl Gray and husband, Tony of Simpsonville, Ky.; one son-in-law, Clyde Smith of Rose Hill; 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; one sister, Ethel Franks of Cumberland, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Arney-Mullins Funeral Home in Rose Hill.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at the Old Arthur’s Chapel Church in Rose Hill, with the Rev. Charles Long and the Rev. Douglas Daniel officiating.
Burial will follow in the Lee Family Cemetery in Rose Hill.
