Epps pitcher Hunter Bayless fires a fastball during action in Monday’s Middlesboro Little League game against Community Trust. Bayless struck out seven while allowing just one run over five innings but Community Trust rallied for four runs in the sixth to pull out a 5-3 win.
Jacob Mike had two hits, including a double, and drove in three runs to lead Overbays. Logan Capps hit his first home run of the season while Scott Overbay and Van Ball also had RBI hits in the game.
For Coke Spencer Raines and Drake Grubbs both had two-run singles and Joey Napier also had a hit.
Monday night Community Trust scored four runs in the sixth inning to come from behind and beat Epps 5-3.
Hunter Evans had a big two-run single for Comm. Trust and Holden North led the team with two hits.
Epps got a two-run single from Hunter Bayless and two hits each from Austin Lay and Lefevers.
