In Middlesboro, librarians, Pam Blank and Michele Lawson, will lead book discussion programs on Tuesday, June 15, and on Tuesday, July 13, with both sessions beginning at 10: a.m. Three book titles: “Daisy Fay and the Miracle Man”, by Fannie Flagg, “Saving CeeCee Honeycutt”, by Beth Hoffman, and “Prayers for Sale”, by Sandra Dallas have been selected for the discussion sessions. These books will be available for loan to those who are registered for the Summer Reading Program in May.
Two of the books have coming-of-age themes, unforgettable characters, hilarious moments and southern charm for the June discussion session. The July session will equally delight participants who enjoy reading historical fiction with endearing characters.
Pam and Michele will also lead book discussions of the same titles in the Pineville library on Tuesday, June 22, and July 20, at 10:30 a.m.
