Members of Leadership Bell County (LBC) got their hands dirty on Tuesday helping to fix up an abandoned lot in downtown Pineville for a project by Main Street Pineville and the City of Pineville. Pictured are: Rob Lincks, Jackie Frazier, Joanna Foley, Jon Grace, Jayden Foley, Denise Shumate, Hannah Spangler, Darlene Long, and Jeremy Hall.

The project aims to create a park in the lot next to La Esperanza. Main Street Manager Joanna Foley said they planned to build a stage for music and plays, and also put tables and chairs there. She said they hope to have it done by late summer. They’re completing the project as more funds come in and as volunteers lend their support.
