Slippery roads may have caused a wreck on Hwy. 25-E on Tuesday morning, when the driver of a 1998 Ford F-150 hit standing water and lost control of his vehicle.

The truck slid through the guardrail at the entrance of Pine Mountain State Park and overturned, landing on its side and losing a wheel.

Bell County EMS was the first to respond, but there were no serious injuries sustained by either the driver or passenger, two unidentified young men.

Members of the Pineville Police Department and Pineville Fire Department also responded to the scene, followed by the Kentucky State Police who will be investigating the accident.
