Southeastern Kentucky Community and Technical College President Dr. Bruce Ayers joined with students at the Middlesboro campus Thursday to celebrate the college’s selection as a finalist for the Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence, the nation’s signature recognition of high achievement and performance in America’s community colleges. Only 10 finalists were chosen nationwide. In recognition of the honor banners designating SKCTC as one of the top ten community colleges in the nation were placed on all five campuses.
