Shirley Jean Capps Hensley, 70 of Middlesboro, passed away Friday Nov. 2, 2012 at the U.T. Hospital in Knoxville. She was born May 31, 1942 at Middlesboro, a daughter of the late Charles Edward and Rosetta Reed Capps who survives.

Survivors include: mother, Rosetta Capps; husband, Jack R. Hensley; sons, Mark (Linda) Hensley, Timothy (Melissa) Hensley, Jeffrey Hensley and Stan (Michelle) Hensley; daughter, Rebecca “Becky” Hensley; brothers, Ronald Capps, David Capps and Gary Capps; sisters, Diana Shackleford and Donna Faye Sowders; grandchildren, Bethany Evans McCune, Caitlyn Evans, Lindsey Hensley, Alexandra Hensley Dover, Jared Hensley, Camden Hensley, Chandler Hensley, Hunter Dustin Hensley, Alyssa Hensley, Taylor Hensley, Bailey Hensley and Kelsie Hensley; and 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Sunday at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Mike Padgett and David King presiding. Music will be by Rev. Mike Padgett. Interment will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Taylor Grove Cemetery at Sharps Chapel, Tenn. Pallbearers will be Chris Shackleford, George Stiltner, Jamie McCune, Stephen Hunter, Brandon Dover, Jake Sowders and Aaron Sowders. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Shawn Fugate and Marion Hensley. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Creech Funeral Home.
