Aretha Clark Asher, 95, of Evendale, OH, formerly of Bell County, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2012 in Blue Ash, OH. She was born in Hulen on May 1, 1917, a daughter of the late Willie and Mary Simpson Clark. She had been a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Amis Asher; daughter, Jean Ward and husband Ray Ward; eight sisters and two brothers.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Ron York; grandchildren, Cathy, Beth, Julie and Matthew; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robey Walters. Burial will be in the Pineville Memorial Cemetery, Pineville. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
