Brandie Philpot Phelps, 26 of Middlesboro, passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital. She was born in Middlesboro on March 12, 1986 a daughter of James “Sonny” Philpot and Deanna Russ Raines. She had been a homemaker. She was a loving mother who enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. She has now gone on to be with her papaw.

She was preceded in death by a special great-grandfather, Joseph “Newt” McGeorge.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Phelp; son, Trevor Phelps; mother and step-father, Deanna and Thomas Raines; father and step-mother, James “Sonny” and Mary Philpot; sister, Leigh Ann Philpot; brother and sister-in-law, Chris and Tosha Raines; niece and nephews, Devon Womack, Garrett Philpot and Emmalyn Raines; grandparents, Paul and Linda Russ and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chad Hensley and Rev. Edward Noonchester. Burial will be in Sharp Cemetery, Middlesboro with Dwayne Bussell, Patton Hodge, Brandon Hyden, Keith Phillips, Mitch Partin and Frank Smith serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ray Loop and Bob Wright.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 p.m. Saturday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the family of Brandie Phelps. Light a virtual candle and sign the guest register at www.arnettsteele.com.
