Velma June Barnett Robbins, age 78, Middlesboro, KY, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Pineville Community Hospital. She was born Aug. 22, 1934 in Middlesboro, KY, the daughter of the late Luther Barnett and Bessie Mills Barnett. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Harold Barnett.
She is survived by her husband, Cardinal Robbins; two sisters, Phyllis (Mike) Tarbet,and Lola Barnett; one brother, Virgil (Betty) Barnett; special care givers, Hospice of the Blue Grass, and a host of family and friends.
Funeral service will be 8 p. m. Sunday, December 23, 2012 at Shumate Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Preston Smith and Randy Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends, 6-8 p.m. Sunday, December 23, 2012 at Shumate Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Monday,December 24, 2012 11 a.m. at the Good Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
