Phyllis Shipley, 62 of Fourmile, KY, passed away Tuesday December 25, 2012. She was born on July 24, 1950 in Hanover Maryland, to the late James Shipley and Irene Posey Shipley. She was a employee of the Ice Cream Shop, Pic-Pac and Sara’s Flowers. She was a believer in the Pentecostal Faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Charles Miller, father of her children.
Survivors include her sons, Charles Jr. Miller (Debbie) of Fourmile, David Miller (Yolly) of the Philippines, Scotty Ray Miller ( Melissa) of Fourmile; brother, James Shipley of Fourmile. Sisters Mattie Harkins of Fourmile, and Dorothy Lingar of Fourmile; her niece -daughter Tina (Dennis) Hobbs; grandchildren, Cody and Tyler Miller, Kayla Miller, Johnie and Mikey Willis, Austin , Lillian, Jesse, Katie Hobbs; and good friend, Ulis Gambrel.
Funeral services will be noon Friday December 28, 2012, at The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Hall. Pallbearers will be friends and family. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Hayes, Bobbie Messer and Ulis Gambrel Burial follow in Shipley Cemetery, Fourmile KY.
