Argie Partin, 91 of Clairfield, TN, passed away Wednesday, January 16, at the Claiborne County Hospital. She was born March 26, 1921 at Frakes, KY, the daughter of the late James Martin Partin and Sarah Elizabeth Mason Partin.
She was a member of the Midway Baptist Church for many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Matt Partin; 1 grandson: Eddie Ray Smith; 1 great grandson: Nathan Jones; daughter-in-law: Eula Lambdin; sons-in-law: Carl Wayne Smith and Arville Jones.
She is survived by the following members of her family: 5 daughters: Deloris Jones, Devada (Dutch) Wolfenbarger, Dorcas Smith, Diana (Garry) Osborne and Debbie (Rocky) Cobb; step son: A.D. Lambdin; 11 grandchildren: Greg, Cindy and Laura Jones, Rex, Ensley, Ralph Jr., and Eric Wolfenbarger, April, Hope and Luke Osborne and Ty Cobb; 6 step grandchildren: Larry, Deanna, Ted, Tony, Carl and Jan; 14 great grandchildren and 4 Great-grandchildren; special caregiver: Vickie Hatfield; special friends: Sharon Petro, Pat Prater, R.T. Russell and Carolyn Thomas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday January 19, at the New Vine Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Horace Partin and Rev. Johnny Partin presiding. Music will be provided by the New Vine Choir. Interment will follow in the New Vine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her Grandsons.
