A Middlesboro man was arrested on theft charges Tuesday. Matthew Hall, 24, was arrested on the charge of receiving stolen property under $10,000. He was released from custody on Wednesday.

According to the arrest citation, Hall possessed a radio belonging to Norfolk Southern Railroad and attempted to take the radio to East End Pawn. The radio is valued over $500. He was arrested by Middlesboro Police Officer Justin Barton.

In other police news, a Pineville man was arrested on forgery charges Thursday. Stephen M. Bradford, 47, was arrested by Justin Barton of the MPD on the charge of second-degree forgery.

According to the arrest citation, Bradford forged a name to a medical form.

He was released from custody Thursday afternoon.
