Charles Keith Grace, 85 of Pineville, passed away Monday, February 11, 2013 at Pineville Community Hospital, surrounded by his family. He was born on December 26, 1927 at home in Kettle Island, KY to late Hickory Ernest Grace, Sr. and Mary Jane Brock Sewell Grace .

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 15 siblings and a grandson Joseph Andrew Smith.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Barbara Anne Brooks Grace of Pineville; daughters, Sharon “Shay” Grace of Pineville, Marilou Grace Johnson of Richmond grandson Brooks Keith Johnson of Richmond; special nephews, Charles Hickory Grace Jr. and Bennie, of Middlesboro, Milton and Teresa Brooks of Pineville, Russell and Kim Brooks of Nicholasville, Bob and Jane Brooks of Marietta GA; sisters; Irene Sowder, Kathleen McCoy, Geraldine Lumpkins, and a host of family and friends.

He had retired as District Manager of Kentucky Utilities , he was a very active member of the First Baptist Church of Pineville where he sang in the choir, he loved golf and was a member of the Pine Mountain Golf Club, Co-chairman of The Mountain Laurel Festive, served on the board of directors at Clear Creek Baptist Bible College, served on the Pineville School Board, Member of Pineville Kiwanis Club, was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps, he had been a referee for high school and college football.

Services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Pineville with Rev. Ronald Howard presiding. Music will be by Karen Greene Blondell. Burial will follow at Pineville Memorial Cemetery . Pall Bearers will be Milton Brooks, Russell Brooks, Bob Brooks, Charles Hickory Grace Jr., Ben Brooks, Brain Fitzgerald, Eddie Morris, Brooks Johnson and Luke Brooks.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church Of Pineville.
