Charles Edward “Chip” Webb, age 71, Middlesboro, KY, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at his home. He was born March 14, 1941, the son of the late General Evan Webb and Martha Shackleford Webb. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers: Colby Webb and Allen Webb. He is a member of Bennetts Fork Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Webb; sons: Charles “Chuck” (Beverly) Webb, Mike (Amanda) Webb; grandchildren: Misty Webb, Andrea Perkins, Amanda Perkins, Michael David Webb, Kayla Prichard, Jacob & Evan Webb; brothers: General Webb and J. B. Webb; sisters: Ruth Robertson, Betty McGeorge and Wanda Struck; special friends: Ted Powers, Lonnie Powers, Mike Roark, John England, Jamie Evans, Tommy Webb and Marty Partin and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Saturday, February 23, 2013 at the Shumate Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Kidwell officiating. Burial will be in the Green Hills Cemetery. Music will be provided by Jennifer Webb. Pallbearers will be Ted Powers, Lonnie Powers, Mike Roark, Marty Partin, J. B. Manis and Darrell Webb. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Friday, February 22, 2013 at Shumate Funeral Home Chapel.
