Macomb — David Branham, 51, of Macomb, passed away at 4:52 p.m. Friday February 22, 2013 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Illinois after a short battle with Laryngeal Cancer.

He was born May 3, 1961 in Whitesburg, Kentucky to Jimmie and Martha Kershner Branham; he married Mary Shelby on March 7, 1985. She survives.

Also surviving are his parents of Knoxville, TN; 1 daughter, Jen (Brandon) Smith of Macomb, Illinois; 2 grandchildren, Marcus David Murray and Gavin Douglas Smith; 1 sister, Mary Kathryn Branham of Knoxville, TN.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Harrogate, TN.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday Feb. 28, 2013 at the Dodsworth-Piper-Wallen Funeral Home, where visitation will be 2 hours prior to services. Rev. Victor Randle will officiate.
