Gap Creek Coffeehouse, formerly Cups and Brushes, has opened at their new location, 710 Pinnacle Alley in Cumberland Gap, Tenn.
The popular coffeehouse passed inspection on Tuesday with a score of 98 and officially opened their doors at 5 p.m.
Their first full day back in business on Wednesday brought in a lunch crowd of Lincoln Memorial University Students and local residents on their lunch breaks.
Cups and Brushes originally opened on June 14 at 604 Colwyn Avenue in Cumberland Gap, but in January was forced to seek a new location for the business. At one point, the coffeehouse was in danger of being permanently closed because the owner could not find a suitable spot.
Within a week of the Facebook announcement that the coffee shop would be closed for good, a new location was found.
Gap Creek currently has four employees and is open seven days a week.
The coffeehouse hours are Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 12:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
