Yvonna Sue Yeary, 72, of Ewing, VA, passed awa Tuesday, March 5, at the Middlesboro ARH. She was born April 4, 1940 in Harlan, KY, the daughter of the late Jim and Pearlie Maiden Collins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Lonas Arthur Yeary; 1 son: Edward Lee “Tumbleweed” Yeary; 2 brothers: Laymon “Dusty” Collins and Cleo “Bill” Collins; sisters: Lady Ward, Della Smith and Brenda Jordan.

She is survived by the following members of her family: 2 sons: Chris (Melinda) Yeary of Ewing, VA and David (Amanda) Yeary of Rose Hill, VA; 2 grandsons: Christopher Jordan Yeary and Cody Wayne Yeary; 5 sisters: Nellie (Vern) Foster of Tazewell, TN, Delores Turner of Middlesboro, KY, Faye Collins of Middlesboro, KY, Penny (Leo) Barnett of Middlesboro, KY and Sharon Collins of Middlesboro, KY; special brother-in-law: Buddy Yeary of Middlesboro, KY; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 8, at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Batchelor presiding. Music will be provided by Kay Carroll. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 9, at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, at the Creech Funeral Home.
