Pineville High School will be hosting a summer team camp during the week of June 10-14.
Participating teams will be able to play two games per day during the camp, which has been sanctioned by the KHSAA for basketball officials accreditation. The camp is open to both varsity and junior varsity teams.
The cost for the camp is $30 per team per game and each team will have the opportunity to play as many as ten games during the week.
Each day during the camp the first games will begin at 3 p.m. with the final games starting at 8 p.m. Two or more basketball facilities are available to support as many teams as participate.
The format for the game will include two 20-minute halves with the clock stopping on dead balls during the final two minutes of each half. There will be a five minute halftime and each team will get two time outs per half. Also, free throws won’t start until the tenth team foul.
The deadline to register for the camp is June 1. To sign up or for more information contact Pineville coach J.D. Strange at 337-2361, ext. 310 or 606-545-4673. He can also be reached at email@example.com.
