A two-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon resulted in one man being ejected from his vehicle. According to law enforcement officials at the scene, a white Ford F-150 was traveling west on Cedar Fork Road in Tazewell when a red Ford Explorer making a left turn from Cedar Fork Road onto Hester Lane allegedly pulled into the path of the truck. Both vehicles ended up in a field at the intersection. The driver of the Explorer was ejected from his vehicle and was flown by UT Lifestar to the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. There appeared to be no other injuries. The drivers’ names were not immediately released. Chief Mark Lamb and Officer Ronnie Maness of the Tazewell Police Department are in charge of the investigation. The Claiborne County Sheriff’s Department and Claiborne County EMS also responded to the scene. (Marisa Anders | Claiborne Progress)
