Neal Evans, 77 of Middlesboro, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at the Middlesboro ARH.

Born May 17, 1935, in Middlesboro, he was the son of the late James B. and Margaret Evans. A member of the Millers Chapel Baptist Church, he had been member of the Middlesboro Fire Department and was a veteran of the United States Army. Neal had also been a professional photographer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a special niece, Denise Ellis.

Left to mourn his passing are the following members of his family: his loving wife of 23 years, Carolyn Evans; special sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Larry L. Yeary; step-daughter, Angela Miracle; step-granddaughter, Raylynn Miracle; special friend, Bill Gunner; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 8 p.m. Friday, June 29, at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Truman Partin presiding. Music will be provided by Willie Hensley and Joe Butler.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 30, at the Middlesboro Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steve Earle, Ray Pressnell, Johnny Blondell, Charles Turner, Danny Vaughn and Clyde Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry L. Yeary, Dr. Neil Barry and Staff, Bill Ogle and Bill Ogle Jr.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, June 29, at the Creech Funeral Home.
