Kennith R. Knowles, born on Dece. 25, 1990, went home to be with the Lord at the young age of 21 on Aug. 13, 2012.

Saved at a young age, Kenny was an outstanding, bright young man who always had a smile on his face and hug for everyone he met. The boy loved with all his heart.

He was preceded in death by his loving grandmother. Jessiephene Meddings.

He is survived by his loving mother, Judy Knowles; sister, Shelby Knowles Smith and husband Adam Smith; niece, Adison Lynn; nephew, Adan Jessie; uncle, Leonard R. and Betty Medding, Terry, Jake, Dewayne, Bruce and Angel; five aunts, Delores and Tony Dover, Krystal, Sally and Shana, Juanita and Alan Ray-Jessica, Christopher and Timothy, Lynette Meddings and Gjon Gjoliey—Amy, Courtney, Amanda and Stevie, Nicole Knowles and son Keith Carrana, Kim Knowles and family; maternal grandfather, Leonard Meddings; paternal grandfather, Kennith N. Knowles Sr.; along with a host of family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell with funeral service to follow at 8 p.m. Thursday in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev, Kendall Walker presiding. Music will be by Riley Memorial Baptist Church Choir.

Graveside service 11 a.m. Friday at Irish Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Christopher Ray, Timbo Ray, Stevie Matyaszek, Adam Smith, Leonard Meddings, Bruce Russell, friends and family.
