Martha Daniels, age 109, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday Sept. 5, 2012. She passed away at her home.
Martha was born June 5, 1903, at Blacksnake, and was the daughter of Anthony and Sabera (Howard) Ely. She married Dewey G. Daniels on Dec. 23, 1921, in Blacksnake. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Martha had 12 children, seven are living, Arlus of Clio, Mich., Christine McElyea of Tennessee, Evelyn Thompson of Tecumseh, Mich., Lee Daniels and Vagil Holden of Burton, Mich., Jerry Daniels of Flint, Mich., and Dessie Welker of Grand Blanc, Mich.; 36 grandchildren, 78 great-grandchildren, 53 great-great-grandchildren, and three great-great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey; and children L.J., Eugene, Betty Karlene, Viola Miracle and Steve.
Funeral Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9, at the Tugglesville Baptist Church in Tugglesville with Pastor Freeman Clark officiating.
Interment at Saylor Cemetery, Pathfork.
The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Sept, 9, at the Tugglesville Baptist Church.
