Juanita Jones, age 91 of Middlesboro, passed away Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012, at Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital.
She was born Oct. 24, 1920, and was the daughter of the late Jim and Ethel Tribell Rose.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Pat Rose, Opal Flannery and Pauline Styer; brothers, Herman Woods, James Rose and Robert Rose; and granddaughter, Donna Jones.
She was survived by her son, Jimmy Jones; grandson, Jimmy Jones; sisters, Patty Herrington and Zerdean Johnson; brother, Donald Rose; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Shumate Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ralph Tennyson officiating. Music will be provided by Amanda Roberts and the Rev. Ralph Tennyson.
Burial will be in Hurst Cemetery, with family serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends 1-2 p.m. Tuesday at Shumate Funeral Home Chapel.
