Clyda Nell Knight, age 66, of St. Charles, KY passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at her residence. Ms. Knight was born on July 30, 1946 in Hopkins County, KY to Noelie Farris and Flossie Camplin Farris. She was a retired CNA Nurse and worked in Hopkins County. Additionally, she was a mother and homemaker and she enjoyed cooking, reading, shopping and spending time with her family.

Preceding Ms. Knight in death are her parents and her husband, Kenneth Ray Knight on July 8, 2012.

Ms. Knight is survived by four sons, Trent Hayes (Kelly of Hanson, KY, Terry Hayes (Mary Jane) of Dawson Springs/Pineville, KY, Sean Dame (Jennifer) of Madisonville, KY and Rusty Dame of St. Charles, KY. She is also survived by a caregiver, Stephanie McLain of St. Charles, KY, a brother, Gary “Buddy” Farris of St. Charles, KY, nine grandchildren, Mandy Hayes, Zach Hayes, Allison Hayes, Dylan Hayes, Ann Marie Hayes, Emily Jones, Ashly Samuels, Caleb Dame and Mason Dame.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at Beshear Funeral Home with Rev. J.W. Haire presiding. Burial will follow in the Gilland Ridge Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service are to be Sean Dame, Trent Hayes, Rusty Dame, David Hogan, Terry Hayes and Charles Camplin. Kenneth “Ears” Smith was named as an Honorary Pallbearer.

Visitation for Ms. Knight will be on Sunday, October 28, 2012 from 10:00 AM through 2:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY.
