Viola Willetta Helton, age 70 of Middlesboro, KY passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at her home. She was born December 21, 2012 in Claiborne County, TN, the daughter of the late Charles Levi England and Goldie Marie Sutton England. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George Helton; and sisters, Alma Ruth Jacoby, Hazel England, Barbara Smith, and Retha Mae Vanover.

She is survived by her children, James (Teresa) Douglas, Jr., Johnny Mickel Douglas, Bobby Lee Douglas, Elayne (Rick) Weaver and Charles Avery (Kristi) Helton; grandchildren, Elijah Cole Pierce II, Tristan Avery Helton, Rebecka Nicole Weaver, Jamie Douglas, Latasha Douglas, Johnna Douglas, and Jonathan Douglas; great-grandchildren, Audrey Celeste Weaver, Allison Evans, and Malachi Graves; sisters, Betty Whitaker, Carolyn Marlow, and Christine (Eddie) Ellison; and brother, Jerry (Bobbie) England.

Funeral service will be 8 p.m., Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Shumate Funeral Home Chapel. Music will be provided by Rebecka Weaver, Bobby Douglas, and Alva Cunningham. Pallbearers will be Charles Helton, Wesley Skidmore, Randy Lynch, Jackie England, Brian Marlow, Richard Marlow, Pat Johnson, Mike Johnson, and Andrew Evans. Graveside service will be 11 a.m., Friday, December 14, 2012 at Green Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Shumate Funeral Home Chapel.
